The Wishing Glass Company originated in the Highlands of Scotland. One of the only 'wild' areas of Europe that is left to be 'wild'. A truly beautiful, inspiring and treasured land. With much history, tragic and bloody past. Yet the 'spirit' of this land is beyond the imagination! You have to 'see and be it' to believe it! The moods of the highlands change from moment to moment. Howling winds, rain, snow, hail, sleet and warm sunshine all in a day! Go visit…….. See the links page for relevant 'Scottish sites'. The Company started back in 1988. We produced various stained glass objects, 'tiffany style' lampshades, clocks, mirrors, the occasional window panel and some jewelry. The jewelry became so popular that we concentrated on this. At this time we only sold to the retail trade. In 1990 we started wholesale trading as well. Over the years many events have directed our course and we now find ourselves 'broadening our horizons' and including many other styles of jewelry. Events led us to the USA in 1993 where we successfully started selling our glass jewelry there. We have continued this and are now able to supply anyone, anywhere in the world from either the USA or the UK. Retail or wholesale. The story continues…………………... |
